Like Katie, Perez makes his living slagging off people and living on the edge. The only difference is that he is a bit of an annoying little **** and will get on peoples nerves in time. They are both protagonists and naturally both will vie for position, but Katie will win the public over in due course, which is a true test of her success as an annoying entity which is her weapon of choice to make money. The acid test will be who lasts the longest on the show, so watch this space folks.

yeah, it's early days, too soon for me to really get to grips with them and choose a favourite but I like him so far

I know this audience, they will keep Perez in despite him being annoying unfortunately.

Annoying people seem to have some sort of voter base.
