I like the theory I just read.

Abi thinks it was her but Lucy wasn't completely dead. She tells Jay and Ben about it and they go to dispose of the body. Jay finishes her off and Ben is covering for him. Meantime abi thinks it's her, Ben knows it was jay and tells Phil. Lauren thinks it's abi etc. Emma thought it was abi with max covering for her etc. Blah blah blah.

I've got so into this, like I've not watched in ages and I've been watching all the clips, and case studies and stuff lmao. I think that Jane has def got something to do with it and I've read a lot of stuff about Cindy/Max/Lauren etc. I kind of have a hunch that it might not be one of the suspects, and be someone completely different, because I clip saying that it should be a shock etc. Idk, I just think that might be good? And then the whole timeline would change to fit in around the killer etc.

I think that it would be too obvious for Jay/Ben to have done it, seeming that they had her phone and purse - and the same can be said for Abi, they've written her off now, I don't think it would be Max either, he always seems to be key in all of these story lines (from what I remember and it would be a "shock" like it's supposed to be?)

But I still don't really understand how it could have been Denise... Because I've not watched, I'm still unclear on stuff, but still, I'm so glad I watched tonight, it was brilliant.

With her being in Africa, she could have got mixed up in a gang or something and was out into witness protection. After ten years the gang members have slowly died out or something which leads to her release from witness protection?
I think it's the only plausible way of bringing her back. She wouldn't have stayed away for so long if she wasn't forced to. Maybe anyway.
