No its another error

As I have a husband in the RAF and I'm ex-RAF myself I have some insight into this.

They aren't jets they're Bear Turboprops very old but still useful aircraft.

This probing has always gone on but lately has been increased to once or twice a month. They're doing nothing wrong except flying without transponders on and also no lights. The worry is that we'll have a collision.

They probe us, we intercept, they make a note of how long our reaction time is etc. it's all a game, they have recently sent a warship down the channel doing the same thing.

The only difference is it used to be over the North sea and Scotland now they're getting more ambitious.

They're doing it to other NATO members not just us, it's all got worse since the Ukraine trouble started.

The Russians yesterday also had another sortie down the coast of Ireland escorted by tankers which also had us scrambling the QRA aircraft.

I don't think the Russians are thinking of attacking us any time soon it's all a big game and a little intimidation.

Normally this would not even make the News, but now it's seized on and used as yet another piece of blatant Anti Russian propaganda to frighten people and to try and slowly condition them to think Russia is the "enemy".

They are not, for that you need to look in an entirely different direction.

They've been seen, I know they're good but nobody's made an invisible plane yet.

Not invisible to the naked eye but a few aircraft are almost invisible to radar.

No.
It's happening more and more recently.
It's Putin flexing his military muscles and testing our response times as said above. They're not fast jets that Russia are sending,Just saw footage on Sky NewsHD and they know exactly where they're going.

It made the news because it's happening more frequently now since the tensions are currently higher than they've been for years between the west and Russia.

Surely Russia and President Putin has more important things on his mind at the moment than sending over to the UK two aging post Cold War bombers.

I mean why....???? what's to be achieved by this ?

He is showing us he can reach us very easily if he so chooses and testing our reactions.
He is'nt just doing it to us either but other European countries.
It's a little more than a coincidence don't you think that it's happened twice in the last couple of months that we know about and a Russian warship had to be escorted out of the channel recently by our navy.

Do you think these pilots and captains are that stupid that they just get lost and just happen to end up in our territory?
Of course not,They are extremely well trained and know exactly what they are doing.
