I'm really happy about the killer because it made sense and I can see another amazing storyline coming out of it.

1. Peter plans to go to New Zealand. Desperate to get away from the pain in Walford, he wants Lauren to go with him.

But with Jane pleading with Max not to let Lauren end things this way, a happy ending seems unlikely. Both characters are departing Walford but will they go together or apart? Lauren’s line: ‘Will I ever see you again?’ doesn’t bode well.

2. Nancy will break the shock news to Linda that she thinks Mick has killed Dean and the rapist’s fate certainly seems sealed when the police arrive to announce that a body they believe to be Dean’s has been found in a burnt out car.

But is everything as it seems?

3.The Lucy investigation may not be over as DI Keeble is back to put more questions to Jane and Ian.

Can they keep their cool and keep their dark secret?

4. Dot is in prison and faces heavy charges for her role in Nick’s death.

While she seems resigned to her fate, others will start to feel the force of the law too as the ever busy DI Keeble shows up to arrest Charlie.

5. Speaking of Charlie, there is unfinished business ahead for him and Roxy.

Do they actually have feelings for each other? And, when Ronnie returns, how will she cope with what has went on while she has been at death’s door?

6. The end is nigh for Stan. As he takes a turn for the worse, he is admitted to hospital.

But the old charmer wants to go out a married man. What will Cora say to his surprise proposal?

7. Sharon’s past catches up with her as her birth mother’s illness forces her to face up to the music.

Enlisting Linda’s help, she pays a visit and comes face to face with her half brother who doesn’t recognise her. Meanwhile, after reading a private note, Abi discovers what is going on in Sharon’s life.

8. Kim’s baby remains in intensive care as she panics that her prematurity might mean that she will lose her.

And her absence from Walford and what she got up to while she was away is about to be explored, with painful memories set to come to the surface.

9. Also facing some very dark memories is Kat Slater as an investigation is launched into her abusive uncle Harry.

It transpires that he may have sexually abused other girls but will reopening of these horrendous wounds lead Kat on a downward spiral?

10. Finally, expect a couple of returns to the show.

Dean’s dad Buster is back on the scene but will he rekindle things with Shirley. And also, Kathy will soon be back on Albert Square and the whole story of exactly how she is alive is set to send shockwaves through Walford forever.

Only watch soaps when they go live these days and I have to say this week has been incredible. Some awesome performances from the Beale clan too, especially Adam.

Also I've kind of fallen in love with Lauren and Peter in the space of three days, is he being recasted then cause Ben said it was his last day but not Peter's?

Peter's in Monday and Tuesday's episodes so I think that's what he means by it not being Peter's last day.

I think they do. Lauren definitely leaves in Tuesday's episode and Peter isn't credited after Tuesday, I expected him to stay on screen until at least June but since he's finished filming it's likely he leaves on Tuesday.

So he'll most likely be recasted whenever they want to bring Peter back then? Or presumably they'd give Ben first refusal whenever that came around? Not sure how these things work, I've always found recasts in soaps strange. I get they need to be done but they are weird

He said on the backstage show that he loves working on the show so I assume he'll be back at some point.
