Are you self employed and responsible for your own tax?

If not then you shouldn't be filing a tax return.

If you are paye and have paid too much tax then you just contact centre one for a rebate

The first line of that reads like something from one of those PPI adverts

In guernsey, everyone has to do their own one, it works different here

Ah right

Well as soon as the tax office updates your code you should get what you are owed onto your wage

I finally got all mine back last week after 8 months

They managed to mess it up twice, for the first 3 months my tax code didn't go through (my work lost it twice so couldn't send it to HQ for it to be processed )

Then in January it reset to 0 again for some reason, so i had to send it off again , i didn't get the money back straight away either, I'm guessing it'll just come in a rebate

Guernsey sounds like a terrible place to live tbh.
