Oh yeah that's true, but there's a waiting list to do it, so the people that have more time to do will get it, think they want you to do it at least 2 times a week, so don't know if they would mind just doing it for summer.

Ahh ok.

If your just looking for something to do, while helping the community and getting experience there's always volunteering. It will help you get experience and looks great on your CV.
