Amazing wasn't it!!!!!
I loved how well Sivu kept the bluff going perfectly right up until the last second, even down to the fighting back the tears during tribal.
Zavion had been soooooo *****ing condescending throughout the whole episode to Sivu too. It just made it all the better wen Sivu whipped out the idol. The majority alliance looked absolutely stunned!!!!

Even though Zavion made a huge effort to come across like a gent and take it really well he was just his usual, over the top self. His "oh well done....just brilliant Sivu...etc." even came across as him being patronizing.

He needed to go more than anyone 'cause his size and athleticism was just giving him too much of an advantage in the challenges. It's nice now that there's two two person alliances that are pretty well matched and really any one of them could win.
I'd LOVE to see Sivu win though. He just seems like an extremely genuine and humble guy and it sounds like he hasn't had an easy life. He's from a shanty township just outside Capetown called Khayelitsha. It's basically thrown together shacks with no proper water or power supplies. Here's a couple of pics of the place;

There's over a million people living there and over 25% of the adult population has AIDS. For Sivu to have grown up there and now he's studying to become a Professor in Astrophysics is pretty amazing in itself!

I'd actually be OK with any of the final 4 winning. I've even grown to quite like David. He's a strange little man but he seems quite decent in his own way.
Sivu is my boy though! Go Sivu!!!!!

I'm not sure if there's one or two episodes left. Actually i think it's two. I seem to remember them saying

Is it a final 2 or final 3? I'm rooting for Graham to win since he has played the best game so far, but I wouldn't mind if Sivu wins. I agree with you on David. He is hilarious.

I'm not really sure.
This is the first SSA season i've watched. I've got the first two Seasons downloaded so i don't really want to go looking for info just in case i spoiler myself for those Seasons.

I agree that Graham has played a great game but he can be a bit odd at times, almost like he's about to have a massive tantrum or something.
I think the pressure of the game gets to him a bit sometimes.

Oh boys!!!!!
Yet another absolutely cracking episode tonight!!!! I haven't quite finished it but i needed a 2 minute breather cause things got a bit stressful and nail-bitey for me.
So Big - It looks like this is pretty much the final episode with next week's episode being (probably) a studio vote count and reunion episode combined by the looks, and the final Jury statements and questions are put to the final three competitors by the looks of it, which it looks like are about to happen right now during the last 15 mins of this episode.(i know you were asking about the number in the final facing the Jury last week)

I'll go back and watch the last 15 minutes of the episode now but i won't put any spoilers here just in case you guys haven't watched it yet.

EDIT; I just finished the last 15 mins of the episode and i was incorrect in my earlier assumption. The Jury questions and Final 3's statements weren't on this episode. The game, as such, is over with the Final 3 now ready to face the Jury next week and then the vote followed by the results and then the reunion....i think!
End of tonight's episode was just a bit of a look back at the three finalists and the game in general. Great episode overall though, and no Tony type Clowns to spoil my viewing pleasure either!

This, for me at least, has been so much more enjoyable than Survivor Cagayan this year! It's such a breath of fresh air to watch a whole Season of Survivor without a single irritating American to be seen! I've enjoyed these contestants so much more.

Another brilliant episode. I don't like how Sivu is getting too cocky now, I wish Buhle's plan to blindside him would've worked since it would've guaranteed Buhle the win. I don't see the logic in Graham voting David out, but whatever.

I'm really hoping Buhle wins. It would be a great story to go from being voted weakest of the tribe to becoming the ultimate survivor. If not her, then Sivu. But I really hope he doesn't play the sympathy card in the final TC since I kinda agreed what Graham was saying in a sense that Sivu hadnt done as much as Graham up until playing his idol at F5.

I don't think Sivu's getting cocky at all!
I thought what Buhle did (or tried to do) was sly as ***** and Sivu still pulled it out of the bag even though he wasn't very good at starting fires.
I also think Buhle has done herself no favors with the Jury by trying that move. Most (actually all i think) of the jury love Sivu and they were overjoyed when he survived that attempted coup!
Buhle's barely made a move all season and the first time she tries to make a move it's against the one person who's had her back all the way through the game. I'll be surprised if she gets a single jury vote after that shiz!

I think Sivu's got it in the bag!!!!

Wow. Wasn't expecting that winner at all tbh, but then again I kinda was so idk how I feel about it.

Spoiler:

Graham won with 5 votes. Buhle came second with 3 and Sivu came third with 2.

Was expecting it to be the reverse tbh.

Can't wait for next season, I hope there will be one.

How/where did you watch the final ? I didn't think it was on until tonight ?
I just had a quick Google for Episode 18 and couldn't find it but i don't want to go to the official website because i don't want to know who won before i watch it.

Can you message me to tell me where i can watch it please! Don't tell me who won though.

I watched the final......finally!
Great Season!!! I'm not sure but i would imagine we'll have to wait a full year for another Season from South African TV. They obviously don't have the funds that the US do (as with everything!).

I was surprised at the outcome too Hayden, and personally disappointed somewhat.
I love Marian but i thought that was bad of her to go into tribal saying she was going to do one thing (and being so openly vocal about it too!) and then doing quite the opposite.
I also hated that Solly decided his vote on the toss of a coin. That was lame.

David was his amusing self 'til the end though!

Sivu was bloody robbed....... ROBBED i say!!!!

Marian was looking hot at the reunion though!

I really enjoyed the season and they had a great load of contestants. I hope they stick with the same format next year and not go off on a celebrity tangent like they did previously.

Graham controlled the game from start to finish and he was well liked. He deserved it.

Not taking David to the end was also a very smart move on his part. David was always going to vote for him and Sivu would have voted for Buhle. Sivu and Buhlee also took votes away from each other.

Great 'baddies', they really livened this season up, and it's nice to have fans on the show who know we want lively entertainment. Also great misfits with David and that woman he argued over the idol with.

Graham was frankly a personality-free zone. While in a way I don't mind him winning it was a bit predictable, him and Zavion pretty much had the edit of a winner. Sivu would have been more a surprise and an underdog winner and so more interesting. And, as was said, Graham's vote to tie and let Sivu make fire was quite strange. Not sure how the woman in the final got that many votes.

Actually the edit before tribals rarely left much suspense for the viewer. I also wish both idols had been played.

Overall I didn't like the Captains that much, having that influence even though they couldn't really know what was happening in both tribes as well as anything post-merge was strange. And I'm not sure how well they understood the game either, particularly that Mark Fish guy. And one ends up winning half a million as well?? It was obvious who was winning that anyway, the guy got music whenever he made a speech.

Enjoyable though, if there's an Allstars or Allstar/newbie mix hopefully some from this come back. First season I've seen of the SA version.

Does anyone know if there's a Survivor SA new Season on in 2015 ?
I had a look around the internets but couldn't find anything. Sad after last year's being so good and it was pretty popular.

It had already well started by this time last year so things aren't looking promising for a 2015 SSA.

I've searched high and low but can't find anything about it so it's looking doubtful sadly.
I'm friends with Marian on Facebook so i'll have to ask her and find out for sure.
