TBH, Big Brother has been renewed till 2018, so in a way ratings don't matter.

It's not going to be axed anytime soon, and Civilian Big Brother will never get over 2.1m. If they produce an amazing series, they can hit the 2m/2.1m mark, like how BB14 almost did.

But I can't see that happening. I think as long as the series averages at least 1.6m, then it's fine. If they start to average 1.3m, then we should be worried.

BB gets Channel 5 high ratings, and CBB gets Channel 5 even more higher ratings, at over 3m.
It's doing fine.

Plus, many of the BB15 highlights rated less than a million in overnights, but once the officials came in, they increased to about 1.3m.

The BB16 launch rated terribly though. Sallie's eviction rating higher than the BB16 launch is worrying. But there was hardly promo for this year.
