I don't think it has been a slow start really.

It seems that after 3 series (inc CBB) of high intensity drama and negativity viewers seem to be shell shocked to come to a series like this where things are pretty mellow and balanced.

I think there has been the right amount of drama and calm this series so far. It has lacked one massive row although I can easily see that coming soon with this cast. They are slow bloomers in that respect.

I agree with the tasks, the daily ones haven't been good at all, just the usual standard stuff (Eileen's task is the only one that has been thoroughly entertaining). Although looking at this weeks shopping task it looks set to be a pretty good and entertaining one. The information HMs are given of what the public thing is really annoying. They were clearly hoping it was going to stir things up the other day but it really didn't.
