There is a difference... In the first example you're setting standards for how people should behave as they mature, in the other example you're stopping an entire race of people from entering the house.

No there really isn't a difference.

Someone can't change their age, just like someone can't change their skin colour, just like someone can't change their sexuality. You can't tell someone they can't come on a show because of something they can't change.

I actually wouldn't tbh, i've always said that movies shouldn't have ratings, it should be up to the child/parent of the child to decide whether or not the child is mature enough to see the movie.
