I'll clarify, I never said it ever works (although on some level Aaron BB12 got away with being fake to get housemates/voters on side, of the ones that admitted to it anyway).

But housemates always try to be fake, try things to get viewers on side. We see it sometimes when they're up for eviction. Housemates nominate the arse licking before nominations. A lot of housemates have tried, and still try, to do it.

Lots of things in the house don't work or are as transparent as a window, but new housemates still do it when they get in there.
