I don't think age should be given as a valid reason, but that is up to BB who have accepted it for some reason.
Eileen was way over the top, she has lived long enough to realise to the younger generation, anyone e over 40 is ancient, accept it, don't take it personal and move on.

I agree I think it's too early to start with the 'bullying' claims but I do think that the other housemates are nominating Eileen really unfairly just because of her age. I think BB should make anyone who tries to use Eileen's age as a reason either come up with another verified reason or nominate a different housemate.

Eileen completely overreacted to what Kieran said IMO not to mention misunderstanding what he actually said, she ended up thinking he said 'Old people need more sleep' when that's not the case. IIRC he said something along the lines of 'People I know tend to sleep less as they get older'.

The whole thing was just a big mountain from a molehill and pointless really.

I think she did misunderstand him but is sensitive about the age thing as it came up as an issue when there was noise at bedtime even though a couple of others were annoyed about that too.
She had a little chat about it with Kieron and it was sorted, she handled Cristian and Sarah chiming in very well too, good for her.

I dont think Eileen can be blamed for making the age thing an issue though. I imagine it would never have been a problem at all if all of her nominations werent for (effectively) being the oldest there...probably made her paranoid about it

That's another thing. The Twins were more vocal about the bedroom situation than Eileen was and yet Kieron didn't put those up. Eye candy is obviously all that matters to him.

The HM's Face to face nominations are usually restrained. If it had been in the diary room we would have seen more bitchiness and backstabbing so no...I don't think they were entirely honest at all.

No, they gave her the watered down sugar coated reasons but we'll see how they really feel about her when they nominate.

Eileen is playing it all wrong in my opinion. She isn't a youngster yet she is trying to be one. She has the experience and the uniqueness compared to the other housemates that she should be using to her advantage, her method of standing out in a positive light. At the moment she is making herself look silly, i think.
