Thing is, it wouldn't be so bad if they just owned up to it and showed the context.

I remember back in BB1 they used to set discussion topics for the housemates to actually make sure they had some footage because they were just sitting round silent most of the time.

Perhaps it is time to admit that the BB format, as it was, isn't sustainable any more.

You see, if it is true that the conversations and actions in the house are being contrived by the producers then what exactly are people paying to vote for?

Think about it. If a producer tells a housemate to be a villain and she is subsequently voted out as a result then the paying voters are being defrauded if they are led to believe that her actions are spontaneous.

they are paying to remove people from the cast and focus attention on their favourite characters. Same as its been since day 1
