Stupid thing to say to someone you don't know, even if it's your humour if it isn't theirs it's not banter is it? It's just an offensive comment.

Yeah maybe he has. It's just that I thought his std comment (which he remembers) was linked to his earlier semen/pregnancy comments, so couldn't see how he forgot the first comments which led to the std row.
Maybe they are not linked though.

Well that's a very easy thing to say outside the situation. If your way of bonding with people is offensive to others you might not know that until you've already shot yourself in the foot. It's his humour and there's no spite to it. How many conversations do we have to see of him apologizing to Chloe before people understand what she's already gotten, it wasn't a cruel nasty comment in his eyes. People from different places speak in different ways and it'll take him a little time to adjust.

Nah, definitely not linked. He only copped that she thought they were linked two days after it happened. They edited them to be back to back but he's in another conversation when the Second one happened. Chloe never had someone speak to her like Mark so it stuck out in her memory. Mark says that stuff all the time so he'd completely forgotten. He'd probably have said it regardless of who was going to the diary room.

Offending people then saying sorry, quite a pattern for him. I'd just tell him to piss off. Calling others fake? He has lied about his comments to Chloe and about Jade. He's making it up as he goes along, obviously.

Well, any normal person knows that whilst meeting someone for the first time, a joke about STDs is probably not the way to go until you know their humour.

I didn't think it was an offensive comment. I don't care for Marc, but it did genuinely seem like 'harmless banter'. The semen comment was a bit weird though. They weren't funny jokes, but they weren't offensive either. Just silly comments.
