The weird thing about Cristian is that for a good looking guy he doesn't seem to have "it" that je ne sais quoi that makes someone super attractive. He lacks confidence yet is arrogant [bizarre combination] and given his history of being bullied/ misunderstood, is a bit of a figure of ridicule. Essentially Nick has more swag than him. Odd.
