well they say the definition of crazy is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results...

there are 2 particular people that live near me, every single day for the past 5 years they ask me for money every time i pass them on the street, and every single time i've just said "sorry, i can't help you". They clearly recognize me, and they are always polite about it.

They aren't homeless, they are clean and wear different clothes every day. i don't understand why they are begging and spending all day on the streets when clearly they have access to showers and clean clothes. They seem like totally normal intelligent people, they never act drunk or on drugs. I don't understand why they just spend all day asking for money.

I suppose I could be considered the local crazy where I live.
I'm the size of a hobbit, with Einstein type wild white hair and an 'outlander' to boot. That's enough for any parent to use me to scare their kids into obedience!
I must admit at Halloween I dress the part with fake warty hand, witches hat etc., Also I play it up a bit for my next door neighbour, who is the type to not want a blade of grass out of place, whereas my garden is the 'Wild Wood'.
When it's a full moon I stand in my back garden (guarenteed she'll be watching because she nosy as anything) and make out I'm casting spells.
Apart from that there are no local eccentrics, which is a pity as I think eccentrics make the world a more interesting place.
