Because all we ever see nowadays is;
"11:21 am. Jade and Marc are arguing."
"4:06 pm. Marc is in the diary room, talking about Jade."
"9:15 pm. Chloe and Danny are in the bedroom, bitching about Marc."
"11:04 pm. Jack is angry."
Rather than;
"3:02 pm. Craig and Darren are talking about what they usually have for dinner."
"5:12 pm. Derek has called a house meeting."
"10.16 pm. Nikki is in the Diary Room."
