The fact that Nikki actually is popular doesn't change that she is being arrogant about it. Heck, Jack had the support to back up his belief in his popularity earlier in the series, but people didn't like it any more then.

I get the impression she was referring to their statuses as "legends", not morally.

She attacks Jack and she would be the bad guy.
She tells Jack he's hated and she would be the bad guy.
She tells Jack nothing and she's a coward.
She has told him he's loved and she's the bad guy.

Basically, she can't win with everybody. So this back and forth over the same thing is pointless. Is it really that important?

I agree, in fact i'd say my dogs **** is better than helen (i'd rather live with a dog **** than helen, that's for sure)
But Nikki clearly thinks she's something special, just like Jack who hasn't outwardly said he thinks he is going to win, yet everyone is calling him cocky/arrogant because they know he thinks it anyway.

Even if that's the case, she's still correct. Nikki is a BB legend, Helen was just a producer's pet that was repeatedly forced down our throat.

You can't blame Nikki for not liking Helen when she's had to be stuck with a woman that abuses people using their weight, thinks it's okay to tell people to die and has the audacity to call someone else a slag for having a positive body image when she spent the better part of her working life on her back.

A point I already covered. Yes, Nikki's correct. That makes the fact that she has an ego about it no less true.

As I said, Jack was indeed popular earlier in the series, but his apparent-complacency wasn't liked then either. Even though he was "correct". Being cocky about support you do indeed have doesn't lessen the cockiness.

Comparing Nikki's ego in relation to Helen's and Jack thinking he rules the roost because he thinks he'll win is silly.

She's being egotistical when it comes to Helen because Helen thinks the world revolves around her. She's not acted the same way to anyone else in that house so far. Her sense of ego is in response to Helen's.

..I would say with his anger that he's been showing recently under stress of tasks etc, his weight and his gambling that he doesn't have great coping abilities at all in life even though he may seem on the outside to be 'cocky' atm, I don't think he's confident at all...I think it's so grim to do this to him and with Nikki, she's had eating disorders herself and probably self esteem issues so I would have thought that she would be more understanding of what she's doing/how she's doing it....
