All the producers want now is conflict and personally I don't find a grown man running around in his underpants trying to annoy people by belittling them all the time entertaining. If you look back on the classic BB's there was a lot of laugh until you cry moments. This is what I class as entertainment. Too much outside knowledge, too many tasks giving too much information has ruined the whole concept of BB for me.
I like Marc but you make some good points.

Can you expand what you mean by "has been given numerous advantages over the other housemates" ?

I think he's best when his happy go lucky humour shines through.

I think disagreements can be very entertaining but when it becomes a shouting match it loses it's appeal.

Take the Jade Marc "Did someone get a warning ?" incident.
Marc says "Don't be so nosy !"

Funny without being a war of words.

Same thing for Simon "What are you going to do about it ?"

Numerous advantages over the original housemates as he came into the process late knowing exactly how each housemate was perceived on the outside. I think that at that time he was obviously briefed to go in and wind them all up probably in the knowledge he would be protected in the process. He has been protected from eviction with the latest twist and then gets to find out how he is being perceived by the public and then has the added advantage of being able to watch them. I am just awaiting how he will be protected from any future nominations and subsequent evictions.

Oh yeah I forgot about all that

Well in the interests of balance...

You could say he went in there against an established clique.

Does he really know the public mood when it was a fake eviction ?
Some have said it could even be his downfall if he thinks the public like his behaviour.

How much he's used it all to his advantage I'm not sure.
But yeah, will he be protected until the final ? It's a good point.
