he's a nice guy underneath, he puts all this bravado on to hide how sensitive he actually is. that's why he goes so over the top, so no one works it out. but he is a nice guy
he can be a bit of a dick but he means no harm, and i think people should cut him some slack. it was a bit upsetting seeing him that upset

As if. Last time he faced the crowd (a week ago) he got massive cheers. Helen and Brian came in with the compliments.. "You could win this", Joel's mum then thanked him.. Of course he believes he could have won.. This was the reason he looked genuinely upset, it was the first negative thing he's heard, it was 150k potentially gone.
Nice guy.. Put that down to personal taste, I haven't seen a nice side to him yet.. Wonder if that will miraculously change this week though.
