I'm confused. Did they even finish the "Amazing Spider-Man" story, last I heard they were yet to introduce Mary Jane and now they're starting from the beginning..... again.

What's the point? idgi

The second one was the lowest grossing Spiderman movie so far, wasn't received very well by critics, and there was some kind of disagreement between Andy Garfield and the studio.

Haven't seen this new guy in anything before but I think it's a good idea to reboot it and throw him in with the rest of the Avengers.
