Of course there is a difference between saying "you are" and "you look like" but it's still a reprehensible thing to say. The point is that by saying it, she is associating him with someone who is capable of murder or rape, and I find it truly shocking that people are trying to justify this by saying "well, it's not as bad as..."

I imagine she meant because of the crazy eyes and shaking with anger tbh. Not that that makes it any better, but its the only sense I can make of it.
