Default What is the point?

What is the point of the BB16 housemates even being there now?

The house is basically a conveyer belt for ex housemates and all the attention is going on that.

There is no air time for them at all unless of course it's involving one of the ex housemates so either way we still aren't getting to know the proper housemates in the real BB environment.

The producers should be ashamed of themselves for ruining what should have been an amazing experience for the hm's IMHO.

I agree it's unfair but there probably the most boring cast of all time excluding the legends and the four in four out evictees so it's needed

I agree they should work on the present/future element of their ridiculous time theme, but the point is getting anybody in so that they can nominate anybody but Marc. They'll be there and gone by Wednesday after making a few demands and a few noms.

None at all Josy, it just gets more and more ridiculous each decision and week now.
What maddens me is it annoys us but Emma,Rylan, the panellists that get chosen and the sheeplike audience, all cheer at such events.

All yes men to BBs' will, taking no account of the viewers and BB fans hopes for a series.

This really is not BB anymore, Emma and Rylan are presenting something entirely different to BB now.
What it is and what it may become is hard to work out.
Very sad,in my view.

completely agree, emma said on her video today there are 2 weeks left. Sounds like at least 1 more week is going to ex house mates, so that leaves 1 final voting week for a winner ... its a non event now

I don't think we saw any of the non legends this week apart from Marc, and Nick and harry, even that became quite invisible.
This hotel thing is just time warp week 3. Could they not have waited till semi final week or done it earlier. No originals for 3 consecutives weeks, it's just awful. They aren't THAT bad, they can make their own stories. I feel Sam and Harry could be really interesting characters on their own, but all we'll see is more and more legends. They need a break

Basically all the legends come out and decree Danny, Joel, or Marc the winner the rest might as well leave now

Agree. They must all be thinking finally there is a bit of normality and in will walk John McCririck. I do feel sorry for them.

yeh they're ruining it now. the whole point is i like to see their personalities unfold over the weeks. and what happens within that time, naturally. but we're not getting to see that. they're totally ruining it

I was happy to see the back of the ex-housemates, but I do like the idea of next week's 'Hotel from Hell' more-so if we see some celebrities going in.

I agree with you 100% on this and said as much a few days ago.

I'm wondering if this show is actually Channel 5's BB swansong and this is the tribute series for the years gone by. I know there contract has a coupleof years to run but I think the show has spiralled downwards to a place they are struggling to come back from. Why else would they keep dredging up the dirt from he past along with some has-been housemates.

God no! I don't like watching depressing people.

I think John McCririck will end up chasing Harry.

The only other celebrities I would like to see pop in are Pete Burns, Jedward, and maybe Perez

What worries me about the frantic house replacement entertainment and everyone declaring the housemates boring is that next time we will get 12 Simon's and 2 footballer girlfriend wannabees. I kind of want to see real people.

It's becoming so much more fame wannabee and less real diverse group of people.

Actually when Marc gets going on his wild antics,(the funnier ones), he reminds me of Jedward when they wreaked havoc in the house.

Yes Visage,I am still a fan of them.

Those names would be great, thinking about it but please, please,no Nolan Sisters.

This series has reeked of desperation from the producers to try gain more viewers, let the housemates have their time now, it hasn't even felt like a series of big brother, leave the ex housemates out of it now!

I'm with you on a big no to the Nolan sister

I'd really like to see some fun injected into the house and Jedward were just brilliant at doing just that. The housemates have gone through hell over the past two weeks (not complaining, I loved it) but it's time to have some fun.

Marc is also great when he's in the playful mood.

Agree. It's become a Big Bro star show for the last couple of weeks. The originals have barely featured. They don't know what they are doing.

Have they ever since the move to C5?
