Let us dabble in a small hypothetical...

Imagine Aisleyne wasn't paid the money by ITV. What would she do then? Would her "contract" help her if it didn't contain the details of the party that were meant to pay her?

Here are the words of Judge Rinder himself:

See what he says? Stringent compliance regime by ofcom!

You really think it isn't going to be made clear to participants when/if they will be paid and who will pay them?

Sorry, but you have embarrassed yourself here.

marc was absolutely in the right. And Danny knows it too judging by this tweet:

And here, the defence case rests.
Read into it all you want, my only point was that Marc has no idea. And that I genuinely believe aisleyne didn't know the ins and outs of behind the scenes.. I still don't despite your research! It only proves what you already thought inside your own mind

There is no need for me to read into anything. I know what a contract is. And I know that a contract drawn up by ITV lawyers, concerning a show where people are awarded money, which has stringent checks on it by ofcom, will absolutely state who is going to pay who.

It really is that simple. A contract has to have the name of the party that will be paying you. If it doesn't then you might as well use it for toilet paper.

Aisleyne would also be aware of it, unless you are claiming that she didn't read the contract.
