No, for clarity, I am not saying that Nikki is homophobic, Same goes with Danny and Marc.

Homophobia is a state of a mind in which a person dislikes all gay people and I have seen zero evidence that any of the three are guilty of this.

To answer your other question, it is obviously a homophobic slur, using it publicly is homophobic even if it is used to define a heterosexual friend who may or may not be a ****** depending on whether he did or he did not go to the local nightclub on that night (I mean obviously lol, think about it.)

In other words, the word is always homophobic but the person using it may not be.
