Let's not assume anything, this was a deceased man in a tunnel that is all we know as of now.
I suspect the view of some of these refugees is they'll all on emerging from the chunnel be met, presented with a passport, keys to a new house and a welfare cheque?...

If those who follow the conflicts in several parts of the world can acknowledge that there is fighting, then they must also be fully aware there will be civilians at risk, it naturally follows that there will be displacement and those requiring refugee status won't they..where is the fantasy?
