Caitlyn appearing on the cover of one magazine alone has helped massively to bring transgender issues to the forefront. She hasn't had a personality transplant, so she doesn't have to suddenly become a charitable figure the minute she's finished her assignment. Let her live as a woman for a bit first - because doing that alone has opened the public's eyes to what being transgender is.

Being transgender is daily glam shoots and chauffeur driven rides? Being a woman for that matter is about that aswell? What transgender issues has she brought to the forefront? I'm still none the wiser. All I know is that she looks better than Kris Jenner and her kids are calling her both dad and Cailtyn.

If we need someone to step up to this I would rather hear from someone that lives in the real world-that can't afford expensive surgery, that struggles to fit in, that deals with harassment. I want to hear the real dark side of this.
