The thing is Sam has no media training and doesn't have a clue how to present herself. She wants to be a TV personality but has pieced together what that is from fawning over celebrities. She has no idea how to pace an interview and when to play to the audience. Because of that she was totally out of sync and missed what was going on as she tried to appeal to the viewers
