Oh god yeah, Gina's popularity was a big factor in my disinterest in the series too. I actually stopped watching originally (around halfway) but eventually went back and watched the second half the following year (when I knew she didn't win ).

Same here, completely un-likeable housemate who didn't do anything for me, entertainment wise.

I agree about the twists, I thought Gina was one of the few good housemates in the series though.
