Like Lucas said, he barely played. Add to that Matic 'didn't cut it at Chelsea' yet they bought him back.

Just because a player didn't make it at one top club doesn't mean they won't make it at another. Robben and Sneijder are major examples of it.

Watched him play a few times, he is quite good. He has pace which we badly need. I would rather sign a young player than somebody over 30 again.
