Orlaith along with Derek picked on him for a whole week for no reason, and then when he rightfully argued back on the bitch she pulls out the waterworks.

I don't think she picked on him, he instigated arguments too. I feel that was a clash of personality but he goaded her when she was already distressed and enjoyed watching her having to leave areas specifically to escape from him.
