tbf Alex she's as entitled to her opinion on this as anyone else. Big Brother UK has changed and some people would like it not to have changed so much, i don't see anything wrong with expressing that opinion

it hasn't changed much... a decade ago the biggest thing that happened was a girl sticking a wine bottle in her vagina...and everyone getting angry about how slutty she was.

it;'s always been low brow entertainment, because it's always been about watching real people getting angry. Everything that has made the series great has always been stupid people getting angry about something...

We love watching stupid people getting angry. That's what BB has always been.

ah it has though, normal BB is now full of wannabes who only got in through their agents instead of people getting in through auditions. CBB is full of Reality Stars who are well used to playing up to the cameras and knowing how to behave to get themselves airtime and The producers manipulation has gotten way worse each year that passes

but the producers were always looking for crazy trashy characters. they just have more to choose from these days.

in the earlier BBs the characters were reactively normal and it still worked

That will explain why the viewing figures have risen every year since bb3 then.

exactly, the figures go up and up as the show gets more and more trashy. if they showed the housemates sitting around making pottery like BB1 do you think they'd be so high?

The viewing figure for normal Big Brother have gone way down since BB moved to C5 and the later seasons of Channel 4 too

I didn't have a clue who she even was and i watch quite a bit of US TV...........just not the REALLY low-brow stuff.

I don't judge people on their looks and i wouldn't hold someone's past against them for the most part. My judgement of Farrah is purely on what i've seen of her since i first became aware of her existence when she walked into the house and she's made a dreadful impression!
I've seen 12 and 13 year olds with waaaaay more maturity and intelligence than her.
She really is her own worst enemy! I haven't seen a single American outside the house that has a good thing to say about her.
At least we'll never have to see her again after CBB!
