Imo idk how Austin puts up with James and his hot and cold behaviour. If I was Austin I would have distanced myself as soon as James said that they didn't know eachother at all.
It's clear (to me) now that James's friendship with Austin wasn't completely genuine.
Austin is a major dickhead for saying what he said to Janice, don't get me wrong, but James is a dickhead himself for backstabbing his friend. Basically they're both dickheads.
