I don't like to talk about it much but I was once patrolling the district where my wife worked on Christmas Eve when all of a sudden it was taken over by European terrorists. Nobody wants to go in but being the rough back talking cop that I was I went straight in. One by one I dealt with the terrorists making sure I gave a solid quip back to the head terrorist called Hans Gruber about how I was coming for him. I had never been so violent before, even suffering grievous foot wounds at the hands of smashed glass. The terrorist found out my wife was one of the hostages but I managed to get them out and finally kill Hans to save the day.

I also saved an airport from terrorists, drove a taxi round to disarm bombs and drove a car into a helicopter when I ran out of bullets to foil a cyber plot but again I don't like to brag.

True story.

Smacked my ex round the head for cheating. And had a couple of fights in high school. That's all.

Oh wait, I also smashed the same exs bedroom up for cheating as well and only just escaped being arrested.

Well as you don't live at my home you don't know what I actually do around the house so before making judgements about my life completely I would get my facts straight first.

Me and my Brother help my Mom and Dad out financially because they're really incompetent at saving money, and I help around with the cleaning and stuff like that.

Just because I don't cook doesn't mean that I don't do stuff around the house, that's a bit of snobbery right there from you Smithy, do you read the Daily Mail by any chance?

She spends a lot of her time on Twitter that she tires herself out I think, I keep telling her to calm down on how much that she uses Twitter as it tires her out, but she doesn't listen to me on anything.

Oh I also used to fight all the time in primary school but that's as a child #aggresivechild. I actually used to fight a lot with girls in primary, I once pulled a clump of a girls hair out but we'd hated each other since like Y3-Y6 and tension built up and we just ended up having a fight one day. I remember it perfectly I just pinched her on the back of the neck and she thumped me in the face so I pushed her into a bush she got up pushed me back and then I made a grab for her hair and we were both holding onto each other's hair for like a minute or so before we just pushed each other away.

She came in school the next day and said that her dad had said he would take my eyes out with a knife and fork if I ever lay a finger on her again

I don't really get aggressive tbh. Earlier this year I got quite angry and broke a clock though, but that's tame considering loads of stories here involve other people.

i've never done anything violent as a teen or an adult, but i remember probably the most aggressive thing i ever did, was when my mom wanted us to spend the weekend with her family in Maryland, and I told her i didn't want to go because i don't like her family and i don't want to spend anymore time with them now that i'm old enough to stay home by myself(i think i was 16 at the time). I could see on her face how hurt she was by me saying that i hated her family.

I absolutely meant everything i said, but i do regret saying it because it hurt her so much and i shouldn't have hurt her just because i wanted to have the house to myself for the weekend.

(for the record, she still made me go)

I've been to chesapeake bay before! I went to a party there as a kid and there was a huuuuge park there. It's near/part of baltimore isn't it? I can't remember much as I haven't been there in years, but when I go back to the states, I visit my family in Towson/Baltimore

No, not part of Baltimore, it's very rural. my family had a 400 acre farm. It's very beautiful.

Thanks Kizzy.

The minions can't seem to put across constructive criticism, maybe it's because their parents have gotten used to it by now that they've decided to troll TIBB members instead with their rudeness.

..I know Mock that you and your mum are working through stuff..I think we can all react to stuff in certain ways and then feel bad...I think it's one of those things that you've taken the positive out of something that made you feel bad and upset..and an 'opening' to you both talking and to communication etc so maybe in an odd way, a good thing..?...and something that was needed to open that door...but in the same way as we do all react...you know, some may have reacted in this thread also..but they wouldn't have meant either, no more than you did..but on the whole the positives of maybe thinking about the cooking bit which have been suggested in the thread is something to focus on as well as you're doing already with your mum now, you and her finding understanding...

...you react, we react/it's what often happens, you know...but the negatives I don't think were meant/just reactions/instincts and with love for their own families/mums, which I know that you have as well... so carry on your positive focus which I know you have atm because those are the things that will help you and your mum...

..(..very much like you, I'm sure that Liam is another son who adores his mum..)....
