This is a really useful thread. One question Josy; Do you actually give actual wicker type hampers with the goodies packed in them? Or is it just a term you use?

I think the image of the gifts you describe actually packed in a hamper is so very 'Christmasy'.

Yes, or sometimes I use different boxes depending on what type of hamper, the car care hamper I use a bucket, that way it can be used to hold everything plus be used as part of the gift for washing the car etc. A tea hamper I use a small tea tray and so on

If anyone has a friend or relative thats a TV buff, the I'm A Celeb book that was released last year is in Poundland now, got one for a friend for Christmas!

(Am I the only one who has a Christmas bag and shoves anything in there and it will go to someone eventually)

Last year I bought 12 votives from ebay and also bought 2 little Christmas boxes and wax burners (these were only £1 from b&m) and then made up 2 little yankee hampers, wrapped in cellowrap with a bow and they turned out lovely.
