Have I missed something though?

I thought the ghosts were all trapped where they died (as per the season 1 "rules") so what was all that about Iris wanting to find a 2-bed apartment with her son.

He couldn't leave surely?

As for his bi-polar relationship with his mother, I'm lost.

He's not a ghost? he's a "vampire" like the countess, they literally left the hotel in episode 1 to go to the graveyard

I enjoyed it.

But it was the weakest episode so far but then 1 and 2 were amazing.

It was still a grew epsioded though.

Pretty good episode although I'm not here for Donovan and Iris. I think the worst thing they could have done for Donovan's character was to split up him and the Countess up. He's just not compelling by himself.

I like Iris but story-wise it does feel like she was included "Oooh, we need a character for Kathy Bates" as opposed to her being a needed part.

But then there's always a little of that feeling with AHS.

i still find him compelling. he's way hotter than Dandy with Hot Topic clip in hair color extensions.
