Former X Factor winner Sam Bailey reckons that the judges have got it all wrong with this year's final 12.


The 2013 winner thinks Josh Daniel and Ebru Ellis in particular missed out.

Writing as Ladbrokes' X Factor ambassador, Sam said today: "The X Factor is back and we now know who has made it to the final 12 and who will be singing for their lives each week. I’m already glued to the action and can’t wait to see how the drama unfolds. I’ve got my favourite but there’s a long way to go yet.

"I’m really upset that Ebru Ellis didn’t make it to the live shows. I thought she was incredible and would have gone far in the show. I also think that Josh Daniel should have gone through instead of Mason Noise."

Sam continued: "There are bigger questions to be answered by Simon and Cheryl, though. I have no idea why Reggie’N’Bollie were put through. They could be Ghana’s answer to Jedward but I don’t think they are worthy of a place in the final 12. People might think they’ll be good to watch but are they going to be the next big recording stars? Not in my book.

"New Kings Order were incredible at Judges Houses, even with one of them losing his voice, and they should have gone through in their place. I was tweeting like crazy when they put them through!

"And Bupsi? Don’t get me started – I cringed all the way through her audition."

The former prison officer added: "I was shouting at the TV when they put her through! I don’t like her at all. I think Louis Tomlinson looked so uncomfortable when she was singing. He looked like he wanted to laugh. I felt awkward for him watching from home. A very strange audition and a bad choice to put her through."


Sam also called on Mason to apologise properly and slammed the 'production' such as reverb added to the performances at judges' houses.

I agree with her about Ebru but come on this is an entertainment show and Reggie and Bollie are actually fun to watch and Mason is there for viewers to hate(wouldn't be the same without those on a season)Buspi seems fun too. But when is she ever happy about anything?
