I don't think so. I doubt the celebrities would be available for New Years Day as they'd be with their families. It's kind of like them entering on Christmas. And also I'd imagine the launch rating badly if it did, as most people are out on New Years Day and the competition etc.

Yeah, I'd love a Sunday launch but I doubt that would happen.

I was going to mention that. CBB7 had a Sunday launch. CBB17 could have one too - it could launch on Sunday 3rd January like CBB7 did. I wouldn't rule it out though, as the possible 2016 changes state that CBB17 will be a minimum of 26 days. If they launched on Sunday 3rd January, they could finish the series on Friday 29th January - making it 27 days like CBB7 and CBB13.

Oh cool, I didn't realised they had been a Sunday launch before. I guess with all the changes apparently planned it could.


So hope it does launch on Sunday.

Not here for a Monday-Wednesday launch.

It has happened before, it would probably get strong ratings on a Sunday.
