I don't have a best friend but the person I was closest to throughout school, I met when I was three, I guess, then when I got depressed when I was 17, I blocked her out, along with everyone else, we still chat sometimes on Facebook though, it's not completely dead.

Same here. Depression wrecked some relationships.
