Am I unique? I have voted for several people who I do not even think really like me.

Or am I just an honest idiot

because I like them for various reasons so I voted?

Do you only vote for those you like if you feel that it's mutual?

Well I've only ever voted for someone on this list once that I thought doesn't like me, but they haven't posted much in this second half of the year, of course however I won't make a habit of voting for people that dislike me.

And no Kirklancaster it doesn't make you an idiot, sometimes you like people that don't like you it's the way of life.

Thanks Mock - It's only a couple of members I think, but it's good to know I'm not the only one who's done this.

No, I have done the same, in past votes. I also vote for people who I know I don't make the cut on their list, and for people I don't even think vote in this thing, and for people who I just think in general this forum couldn't do without. People whom if they stopped posting tomorrow, I would start a thread to ask what happened.

My joking with Ben earlier in the thread stems from my frustration of having to rank people I have genuinely come to care about one over the other....like making a list for which of my children I like better....it's just not possible.

I do have 10 people on my list, and I have more then 10 I feel are most loved, some who didn't even make the top 50.

No I did the same thing in round 1 (well a mix really, some that I get on really well with and some that I never speak to but admire for whatever reason). I think it would be a shame (and kinda boring) if people only voted for their friends, you may as well skip the voting and just give the award to whoever has the most friends

Round 2 on the other hand is too hard lol. Like Mokka said, it's not just picking 10, but it's ranking them that's tricky.

I agree about the ranking, and it's nice to know that I'm not alone or stupid for nominating some members who don't neccessarily like me, but in who I see merit in - though my top 5 was never in doubt.
