To get away from the depressing drabness and dreariness of these Winter months (and Serious Debates' ) I thought a thread where we can post articles on the paranormal, the supernatural, mysterious, bizzarre, or plain old weird and wonderful would would be enjoyable.

Here's a little item which I came across a while ago which I found interesting:



ABOVE: Elvis lives in a 200 year old Roman ornament, called an acroterion, which is carved in marble on the corner of a sarcophagus dating from the second century AD. If the tip of the nose was not missing, the resemblance would be even more striking -- but this is not the only ancient carving which resembles 'The King' ---
