On top of that, Charlie Slater (Derek Martin) dies of a heart attack and Stacey Branning (Lacey Turner) develops postpartum psychosis and starts hallucinating after giving birth.


Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) is distraught after being diagnosed with a brain tumour and another mystery cast member dies.

A source said: “EastEnders has become renowned for serving up misery and death over the Christmas period, but this year it will be taken to a new level

Why've they suddenly released all of the details about what exactly will happen?

Phil's daughter Louise will make a return next year.
I will laugh my head off if they've just fixed the Kathy off-screen death after she was killed to bring Ben back and then they kill Lisa off-screen to bring Louise back.

I'm honestly predicting some huge red herrings. It's so unlike EastEnders to release so many spoilers unless they're really pushing for the highest Xmas rating this year.

There is SO much news.

Belinda Peacock is back in January, now played by Carli Norris.
Phil will have cirrhosis and if he drinks again, he could die.
Cora is away for a good while apparently, and will not be back until Late 2016.
