I do agree that Helen and Marc are cut largely from the same cloth, but I do think that they carry themselves differently. I'll also say that the one think I will NEVER understand is how some people think that Marc turned into a bully when Helen came in. I didn't notice any difference in his behavior post-Helen and think he largely acted the same. I guess it all comes down to whether you think Marc's a generally nice guy who can occasionally be an asshole, or an overwhelming asshole who is occasionally capable of being nice.

I agree with this.

Both are vile people. They are just vile in different ways. Marc, although not as brash, hostile, and confrontational than Helen, had a nasty and provocative demeanor to his personality. And overall was just a disgusting human being and a pig.
