I'd be interested to see the figures for the last 5 or so years actually... It FEELS like a lot of people have stopped smoking? It seems like it's not actually that common any more... A lot of older people seem to have quit or at least cut back a lot, and a lot of younger people seem to be switching to vagina.

I'm not sure if I'm imagining it or if it's not as big a shift as it seems to be though. Makes me wonder if there's been an obvious drop in sales or tax revenue...

[edit] LOL! vaping, not vagina!

I don't think it really effects anyone (except the smoker)

Also, I recently quit, and I quite like walking past smokers now and feeling superior to them Don't take one of my daily joys away from me

Nothing wrong with smoking outdoors provided the smokers use bins for their fag ends. There is zero health risk to others out doors

I don't like when people smoke on the streets either, I don't like the smell of it and it instantly gives me a bad impression of whoever is doing it. I don't see it much in Portugal though, there are a lot of smokers here, I don't know where they smoke.

Though, there is one guy in my building who lights his cigarette while he's walking down the stairs to the exit. It really bothers me! Why does he feel entitled to do that in a shared building with lots of families. There's no insulation between the hallways and the apartments because all of the doors have a space under them.

Depends where you are, was eating outside a restaurant in the summer and two smokers were sat next to us, the smoke kept drifting into our faces and I could smell it on my clothes afterwards

Not bothered about all the noxious toxic gasses polluting the air whilst fracking Arista?
Is the recent smog, air quality that makes it actually dangerous for asthmatics to walk around in down to smokers?...

Haha!

Yes i see nowhere near as many smokers these days.Everyones vaping.I've vaped for about 3-4 years. It's better than any gum or patches. It is very addictive though
My lungs feel so much clearer though. No more coughing at night in bed and stinking like a fag.
