But he received a £60,000 fee for his participation, and Channel 5 gave a clearly homophobic man an audience of millions to express his prejudices to. Do you really think he would have been booked to do the programme if it weren't for his controversial comments?

He walked away with 60k for a weeks work, he hardly did badly out of it, at any rate the point of the Guardian article has been made several times by posters in here so maybe the author has taken inspiration from TIBB
