I would have told the stupid idiot that if she returned the water and lemon would be free, but that there would be a £50 charge for the glass.
Reminds me of the joke about an opportunist scrounger who went into a bistro and asked; "How much is the vegetable soup?" When told £3.00, he asked; "How much is the bread roll which is served with it?"? When told the bread was free, he tried to order just 6 bread rolls.
