I agree....Steph tried to challenge her but the others shouted her down ....Weeks ago Steph also said Gemma was a monster, which she is, but the others shouted her down ....Steph has taken on Gemma many times but no one has supported her ....i can't understand why everyone tap dances around her

Probably because they 'get' her and like her. Christopher said she was GREAT in his interview. Megan said she really liked her in her interview. Most of the HM's appear to like her more than they like Steph....who is the only one who has had a real problem with her. So go figure.

But Christopher doesn't put down anyone and also would understand the clout and power Gemma has in the industry he's trying to establish himself in...he was how ever very clear he wants Darren to win and not Gemma, who was his side kick over the last 3 weeks....and Darren's personality is the polar opposite of Gemma. There must be a reason why so many viewers despise her. Maybe those living with her have resigned themselves to how lazy she is and accepted it but as viewers of a competition most of us expect real contenders and not ones who refuse to take part but get rewarded anyway. No one ever won The Jungle by skiving and walking out. No one ever won X Factor who didn't try their best. I think British people like the concept of fair play and pulling your weight.

There have been plenty of popular overweight contestants. Josie virtually won because she was overweight.

Gemma actually is popular with the chubby teenage girls, hence her being saved.

The reason the rest of us despise her is her large selection of severe personality disorders.

Really? There's barely any debate on Gemma. Every thread is flooded with fat jokes. Can't be that large a selection of severe personality disorders.

Can't say I've studied the GC's fans so I don't know if they are chubby teenage girls but if they are I'm sure the constant stream of fat jokes are doing wonders for their self esteem.

We are not allowed to reach her because she is being protected by enablers who make it possible for her to get away with it. I dislike her because she is unkind to others and is being protected from any accountability for it but mostly I dislike her, and big brothers protection of her, for making me so angry and leaving me with no where to channel it
I have no sympathy for her and any over weight people will hopefully realise what this is about ....it's just a hook to try and reach her, it's not an attack on them.
If a gay housemate behaved so appallingly, yet was made untouchable, then insults about the fact that they are gay would become people's last resort....I am gay and I totally would understand what that is and I would not take it personally and I would not be offended.

That post wasn't for you sorry, it was an error and I deleted it when I realised my mistake....I'm not really so interested in discussing Gemma with most of the Gemma fans at this stage of the game because they can't influence me and I can't influence them....I don't want to waste your time or my own....good luck with the rest of the show
