Default free or cheap online courses

My life is quite boring and I am a facebook addict and it needs to stop. So I was thinking of doing an online course in something like History like the romans or something but I cant seem to find what im looking for. It all seems to be about the war. Can anyone point m in the right direction please? Failing that give me ideas of what course I could do. Prefrably free or @ least inexpensive. It would be rather nice to gain a qualification in the process too. thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks rubymoo I do get out of the house, I walk the dogs every morning which ive done for about 20 years (its like groundhog day lol) I work cleaning houses in the afternoon a lot of the time theres nobody in so im bored, I do a few classes as well like kettlebells and zumba but there only an hour. I also race me dogs on a weekend but that's not been on lately due to the bad weather. So was just wanting to have something to do instead of constantly been on facebook.

Your welcome mizzy, i can't walk one of my dogs at the moment as he's had an operation on his leg (elbow dysplasia), my other dog just gets a little march round the field (she's not a good walker, she'd rather be free to do as she pleases!) My girls are at school and hubby at work, so i spend too much time on the computer being non productive, which i feel bad about - silly really! I should do an exercise class but i lose interest and end up quiting

There are some really interesting courses on wowcher, i might take one up myself, so thank you for getting me to look

The Open University offer loads of courses and modules, although you do have to pay for it and it's not cheap. I don't know about concessions or anything but they offer an amazing range of subjects and it's not a bad place to start. Also look at your local Further Education college and the Adult Education department of your local council. Good luck!
