If you met and dated and stayed with the first man you thought you loved, that is rare. Not saying it's impossible but, now a days, it's very rare.

What isn't normal is that it happened in a fish bowl where everyone is watching and JUDGING. It can't be helped who you fall in love with and how. They can't run away from the situation and they are too young to temper themselves. Don't any of you remember what it is like when you were in your early twenties?

...And before you start bragging... "I was never like that in my 20's...I was mature and knew my morals" - well good for you for being so exceptional, now go pat yourself on the back, but leave the poor kids alone.
This^^^^

She's young, she fell in love on tv, so what....let her get on with it and deal with the consequences when she gets out, people fall in and out of love all the time, there are no children involved, let her get on with it!

Well said Stormy

The self-righteous attack by the other housemates (like they take the moral high ground ) is even more annoying to me and instead of disliking Steph, it actually makes me support her.

Daniella and Darren were a hundreds times worse than she was when they were her age and, instead of sitting on their moral high horses, they should be the first ones to understand and have her back. Instead, they are nothing but John & Gemma's puppets in the matter. Darren sits by and slags her off like a parrot while Daniella is the attack dog that they unleash, periodically, on Steph.

John just thinks he better and more intelligent than everyone else in the house (which he probably is) and Steph is an easy target for him. He tried having a go at Tiffany first, but found that she was too strong for him, so he switched over to Steph.

Gemma is so full of herself and the most selfish & demanding housemate that has ever been on CBB - and even Big Brother, for the first time that I've ever seen, has bowed down to to kiss her arse. For Gemma, Steph is young, beautiful has two gorgeous lads to chose between and is an easy target for her jealousy and to get the housemates to deflect off of her behaviour onto Steph.

I think the bashing of her boyfriend here by some posters is way worse than anything that could be said about Stephanie. We haven't seen him on cbb and smearing him to try to justify her actions is really really low. If there were problems in their relationship before she went in, after watching her for 3 weeks I bet I know why.

Interesting, I agree with you whole heartedly...but this can be applied both ways.

Why are some people slagging off Sam AND why are some people so outraged on his behalf like they personally know him and how he feels about Stephanie that they are condemning Steph to h3ll for falling out of love with him?

You can't say, leave him alone, he's not on CBB then cry "Poor loverlorn Lad he's being mugged off on CBB".

I don't dislike her because of Sam, I dislike her because she has no respect for others, blames the things she is doing on other people and she's pathetic, clingy, and has poor hygiene.

But I do also feel sorry for the guy, people are insinuating he's some kind of wife beater and I don't think that's very fair. He shouldn't be 'fair game' because she's a cheat.

You don't like Stephanie because of her poor hygiene.????? Ok, you're having a laugh.

Seriously, because the boys decided to gang up on her and expose her dirty laundry you believe she is unhygienic???? How do you know that Gemma or Daniella or Tiffany don't have the same, or even worse underwear. Let's not leave the boys out...have you seen Jeremy's, Scotty's, John's or Darren's?

Look. You don't like her so you are looking for any excuse possible to justify it. That's ok but expect to be called out on it. I don't like Gemma or Daniella....and if someone exposed one of their crusty underwear (which I don't need to see to know that they exist) I'd make fun of it too.

I think it's perfectly reasonable to dislike dirty habits like leaving a pube filled razor blade and dirty knickers on the floor. (She admitted both eventually). She also borrowed Megan's clothes and left them screwed up on the floor. Slobs are not appealing to everyone. I definitely would not be impressed with someone who stayed in my house and behaved like that. Its not the only reason she doesn't appeal to me but its certainly one of them.

Poor hygiene was one of about 6 reasons I listed for finding her unappealing but you only chose to make a big issue out of one of them. Odd.

Because it was the most ridiculous one of the 6. How can anyone be effected by someone's hygiene (good or bad) if they are watching on TV and not experiencing by living with them? It's silly, really...so I pointed it out

You other reasons were not as funny so I didn't elaborate on them. Those characteristics that you listed that made you dislike Steph are also present in other housemates.

1) Daniella/Darren are clingy to their masters Gemma and John, respectively. They can't make a move without their tacit approval.

2) Gemma's lack of respect for the housemates, the public and the game eclipses all the other housemates put together (including Stephanie).

3) Tiffany can't handle the nominations and blames her housemates every time. She will not take accountability for anything she does to get nominated.

4) As for hygiene, that is impossible to evaluate unless you are in the house. Stephanie has been singled out while the others have been ignored. I am not so naive to believe that out of that whole house, Stephanie is the only one to leave a dirty razor or towel or clothes lying about. All you have to do is look around the bedroom. It is a mess, everywhere with dirty clothes, towels etc. laying on and around everyone's bed.

Fair play to the OP. It's hard to be open minded enough to change your mind.

In a nutshell I think Steph is a nice kid who needs to grow up and get her act together. As nice as Jeremy was to her (when she most needed it), getting into a relationship with him may not be the best thing for her. She should heed her Dad's advice. Keep her dignity. Be known as a great actress or singer - not just some fame obsessed reality show reject. If she puts her head down, does a bit of theatre, learns to graft, packs in the party girl bull****, and is willing to work - she might get there. Nothing worth having comes without hard work. She has the talent - now's the time to work, work, work. If she fails to make it back to the big time as and actress, at leats she'll know she gave it everything and will be happy with that. If she spends the next ten years chasing dopey tabloid headlines with a variety of wannabe morons, she'll always wonder what might have been. Her Da wasn't far wrong - dignity is key. BUt how do you teach that to one so immature as Steph?

1. I didn't see Daniella or Darren begging anyone for cuddles, or sitting outside the diary room in a blankie waiting on Gemma or John.

2. Stephanie's pure contempt for someone she purported to love who had been in her life for a year is far worse than any contempt you feel Gemma portrays for people who are relative strangers to her.

3. Stephanie can't handle nominations either and makes a big deal out of them, not seeing a huge difference between her and Tiffany.

4. I don't have to smell the **** to be grossed out by it. Perhaps my standards of cleanliness are higher than yours and if they were all shaving their pubes and leaving hairy razors on the floor I'd be pretty shocked by what a gang of slobs they are.

It makes my day that my opinion gives you such a laugh. What's life without a few chuckles?

Didn't need to see him on CBB...some of us saw him on First Dates where he was so ill mannered and patronising to his date it was cringing to watch ...all he was interested in was ignoring her completely as he looked around to see if the other diners were admiring him....he treated her with contempt for no reason other than he decided she wasn't good enough for him and in return she was friendly, polite and respectful to him...
I wanted to jump into the tele and drag him out and tell her she was a lovely girl, which she clearly was... an absolute pr-ck, who now has a huge following of idiots on Twitter.
I was delighted that Steph humiliated him on TV, you get what you give, maybe now he knows what it feels like....Jeremy by far a nicer person without question.

That's interesting information. I didn't know either Sam or Steph before watching this series. After watching the show, I don't understand how people can crucify Steph for breaking up with a boyfriend on TV.

I also don't understand why the housemates feel contempt for it as well. Especially someone like Darren Day who, in his younger days, walked out on a marriage and his child saying "I don't do family". WTF? I know he has changed but how the h3ll can he be critical and get on his high horse with Stephanie. I won't even touch what Daniella has done to her kids and husbands.

What Steph has done seems like child's play...and in fact it is. She really acted like a child going and back and forth to the diary room crying for Sam then jumping into bed with Jeremy. It just shows her confused mind and the myriad of emotions that she was going through. Was it the right way to handle it? Of course not...but it's just a boyfriend ffs.

It's no where near a big deal compared to the things that Darren and Daniella have done in their pasts and doesn't warrant the vile treatment of Steph by them and the house.

I agree....never been a fan of black and white and rigid rights and wrongs....you need to know a bit more about things before casting stones.....I think one of the reasons Steph is so mixed up is because of who she lived with....I also think Jeremy was an intuitive guy and would have sensed that. ....and let's face facts, the boyfreind is hardly overcome with emulsion is he ?

Yes. This is someone she has been living with for over a year and was about to get engaged to, not someone she had a few dates with. How horrible can you be to someone you are supposed to love? Her selfishness and cruelty are just unbelievable.

If she is being selfish and cruel than she couldn't direct it at anyone better than the nob head ex boyfriend.....he deserves to be humiliated in public, he's done it himself to someone on national tele. ...made my day when Jeremy and Steph got together....it's not often we get a chance to see the bad guy get the boot put in.

That's just ridiculous. He wasn't about to get engaged to that girl and supposed to be in love with her. He wasn't even as bad to her as you are making out. You are wildly exaggerating again.

Makes me wonder why on earth Steph got with him after he was such a nasty prick on that show.

I find her entertaining, I also find her irritating, i def have a love hate thing with her...but the only time I've judged her was when I realised who her boy friend was....and that made me very suspicious.....because he is so dull and so arrogant that it can only ever be his looks that people date him for....and that reflects bad on Steph for me.
