I think in spite of her faults, she has a likeable side to her. I think a lot of younger women will identify with her. I like her better without Jeremy, shes shown more of her fun side.
As for fading into the background, that wasnt the case on live feed last night. During the awards game last night she took it all in good fun, along with most of the other housemates, only Tiffany faded into the background for that one.
